My artistry as a project stylist is my ability to master and combine all the complex areas of Photographic styling for multiple types of marketing and advertising. A unique feature of my expertise is the ability to function as a stylist for all venues - food, product and fashion for print and video commercial advertising. My initial career experience was in the Florida market in fashion and product advertising for a major department store, I then worked as a freelance designer specializing in Decor for regional shopping malls and photo styling for major retailers. Afterwards, I was recruited to work in the Atlanta market as lead stylist and studio coordinator for fashion, product and food photography. With changes in the market, food clients became the focus of the studio for print and video projects. As studio coordinator I handled many responsibilities including, estimates, budgets and project billing. In addition to art direction, set design, set preparation, purchasing of props, materials and ordering product, I coordinate all aspects of styling on the project, I worked with talent agencies to hire models and negotiate usage and time. My other responsibility also was to book assistants and stylist, choosing locations and the training and mentoring of stylist. In short I supervised everything on set or location. If the shoot is out of town, I was responsible for all the travel arrangements for the entire operation and staff. I have a passion for the beauty and the art of everything involved in the culinary world - chefs, cookbooks, recipes and fresh ingredients. The foundation for this passion connection comes from growing up with a family in the restaurant business. My desire is to work with the best products to create the most appetizing photos to produce dynamic images to sell my clients products. |
